Week 14 Trophies
❗ Season Recap ❗
#8 Seed

Even while being on a 6-game losing streak towards the end, @The Junkyard Jamboree still went out swinging knocking @The Seatards out of the playoffs right at the last week to prevent a potential three-peat 👊. While most of the teams were battling injuries, the Junkyard’s players seemed to get injured during games leaving a 🍩 on the boxscore. Despite the unlucky timing of injuries, @The Junkyard Jamboree hit on their second round pick, Puka Nacua, who was the team’s MVP 🤩 and got some good value out of Jaylen Warren. We have two new teams in the playoffs this year so it might be time for @The Junkyard Jamboree to be due next year 👀.
#7 Seed

Mannn bring out the tiny violin for @Pooper Butt 🎻. They started hot, going 5-2 and even held the #1 Seed for a point. But the team collapsed in the second half going 1-6, ending on a 4-game loss streak 😿. QB instability, flex busts 🥴, and a league-low 75.9% accuracy seem to be the core causes of the drastic drop in scoring. The ChatGPT draft actually seemed to pay off (even with Tee Higgins in the second round), but the AI couldn’t get the lineups right. Even though they are the 7th seed, it’s still 1 game away from the #3 seed and @Pooper Butt should absolutely be holding their head up high for a mostly successful season despite the result. At least the first half was fun. @Pooper Butt should come back reinvigorated next year looking to capture the early success again… perhaps this time with Claude.
#6 Seed

Dawg POUND. @Team Caspa1 didn’t go out without a fight 💪. Being 4-7 staring down the barrel of the Sandwich Bracket, @Team Caspa1 became more clutch. Increasing their lineup accuracy by 10% and getting all the way to 6-7 to stay in the playoff race till the very end before falling in the final week to the season’s high score. Starting the year with the auto-draft cast a lot of doubt on this team’s performance. But once Rashee Rice came back and AJ Brown started to stop twerking on the sidelines @Team Caspa1’s team became more dangerous. However, they had probably the hardest schedule per the Schedule Matrix that would’ve taken a significant scoring output to overcome it. This team had been a strong contender the past two years and I don’t expect them to come sleepwalking into the draft next year… if anything this last fight they made might’ve lit another fire 🔥.
#5 Seed

*cracks p***s* Luck of the Irish Sean? More like cuck of the Irish 🍀
— The Junkyard Jamboree
It looked like @The Seatards were primed for a three-peat run when they were the #1 seed at 4-2. But the Raiders offense and some duds at the WR spot dropped scoring significantly in the second half of the season. Their bet on Ashton Jeanty in the first paid off for a couple games… but the star of the team was definitely George Pickens in the 11th round 🤯 who was the WR5 for the season. @The Seatards is the most decorated team in the league with back-to-back championships in the league’s two-year history, but in classic fashion they got Junkyarded. I have a feeling the Luck of the Irish 🍀 may be rearing its head again like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
#4 Seed

What a sandwich-like season for @The LilBadBois. They started scorching at 3-0 but quickly went 1-6 😳. It was some dog days in the middle of the season where they started to write jokes in preparation for the Sandwich Bracket award. But Jahymr Gibbs and the team clutched it up, ending the season 3-1, posting the season high score in the last game of the season to leapfrog above @The Seatards to sneak into the playoffs. Overall, their lineup accuracy had been good but the main story is the points against normalizing the second half of the season. Even though they're the 4th seed, @The LilBadBois have to feel good with the way they ended their season and should carry a lot of confidence going into the Alpha Gauntlet Bowl.
#3 Seed

A tale of two halves for @Your Dad's Fantasy. They were in the absolute gutter sitting at the bottom of the standings in 8th place at Week 7. @Your Dad's Fantasy gathered the team in the locker room, looked them in the eye, and simply said,
“We’re either gonna win at least 5 or piss like puppies… who’s staying on the porch… and who’s eatin?”
Landing at the three seed after the gauntlet of the first half serves as a big win in itself. @Your Dad's Fantasy’s first and second round picks busted all over themselves 💦 but Jonathon Taylor saved the season from the third round. The depth has thinned significantly to injuries and busting… let’s see if the all-stars can show up to eat.
#2 Seed

Just pure winning in both halves of the season. While their schedule may seem like it wasn’t difficult, it was actually the strategy of the @The Commies Agenda, replacing the opponent teams with anime girls! Which obviously has worked well all year. Their scoring picked up significantly in the second half showing out like a true contender. CMC has been a fantastic first-round pick and some roster moves with good lineup choices bolstered their accuracy to 92.9% 🎯. I’ll end this recap with a quote from earlier in the season,
As far as I’m aware, I’m pretty sure you play the teams in front of you, not sure about all this woke participation trophy stuff
— The Commies Agenda
#1 Seed

It didn’t look like it at the beginning but the @Naberhood Watch dominated the league going 7-0 to finish the season! They did have a low Points Against but they backed it up with a strong Points For to take the league scoring title for the season. Their rookie pick in Henderson broke out and got them much needed wins in weeks 10 and 11. After being the Sandwich Bracket Champion in 2023 and a Sandwich Bracket participant in 2024, @Naberhood Watch flipped their performance and ended 10-4 being the only team to hit double-digit wins this season. It’s hard to bet against a team that wins, but some say they’re due for a 🫢. Regardless of the rest of the year, @Naberhood Watch had one of the most successful seasons in league history and will be forever immortalized as the 2025 #1 seed.
